Judy's Story

Judy Williams-Corbett, also known as Queen Of The Beach, is a respected and renowned naturalist, educator, and preservationist. She grew up with a natural sense of responsibility and a quiet, steady leadership that shapes her life.

Surrounded by the forests, shorelines, and changing skies of the Pacific Northwest, she developed an early reverence for the natural world and a deep curiosity about how people and landscapes shape one another. She is an ardent school teacher and mentor to thousands of young people over the decades.

She and her husband Robert Corbett own property in the Abbotsford agricultural land reserve, where they raise cattle, grow cash crops, and have a sizeable nursery that grows rare species of plants. Judy loves visiting Pender Island often over the years, painting watercolours of the visits and sunsets here.
